Our Coach Educator, Camilo Ortega (Col), has just returned from leading a successful boccia coaching course in Ecuador! The World Boccia Level 1 Coaching Course was held in Quito on October 29th and 30th and it hosted 15 enthusiastic participants from Brazil, Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador.
It was wonderful to see everyone fully engaged and eager to learn during the course. The cultural exchange that occurs during these events is truly invaluable. Coaches from various backgrounds come together to share experiences and knowledge, creating a sense of community and mutual respect within the boccia community.
A big thank you to the Ecuadorian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Disabilities for hosting the course, their outstanding hospitality and warm welcome. We are excited to continue working with our friends in Ecuador and other countries to grow and support the sport of boccia for the next generation! ?
