The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has recent published the 2025 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods.  It can be found here.  It has been approved by WADA’s Executive Committee and enters into force on 1st January 2025.

To help National Federations and International Federations, WADA has produced a 2025 Summary of Major Modifications and Explanatory Notes.  This highlights the changes from the 2024 List.

WADA also has a 2025 Monitoring Program.  This includes substances that are not on the List, but that WADA wishes to monitor in order to detect potential patterns of misuse in sport.

WADA Director General Olivier Niggli said: “We encourage athletes, their entourage and all stakeholders to acquaint themselves with the Summary of Major Modifications to avoid inadvertent use of substances and methods that are prohibited in sport for 2025.”

If an athlete or Ramp Operator has been prescribed by a medical professional a substance which is now prohibited, they need to apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).  Please ensure you allow adequate time for this to be processed and assessed.

If you have any questions or concerns about the above or any other aspects of Clean Sport, please contact your National Anti Doping Organisation (NADO) or World Boccia.
