The Classification Committee are running information sessions on the 2026 Classification Rules Update following feedback from the boccia community.  They are designed for athletes, coaches and team staff, i.e. those most directly involved and effected by the classification process. 

This session will cover:

  • The stages of Classification
  • Eligible Impairments
  • Minimum Impairment Criteria
  • The use of Equipment
  • Key practical implications for athletes and coaches

It will be hosted online, with an opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on the updated rules.

  • 9am to 10am (GMT) – Oceania and Asia
  • 1pm to 2pm noon (GMT) – Europe and Africa
  • 3pm to 4pm (GMT) – Americas
