Special Saengampa
The third in our series reflecting on Paris 2024 recalls the brilliance of men’s BC2 champion Worawut Saengampa (Pic: Raquel Gouveia).
The Thai athlete produced a superb display of power and precision to overcome Muhammad Herlangga from Indonesia.
A gold medal winner in the team events for Thailand in 2006 and 2020, Saengampa surged to his first individual Paralympic title.
Herlangga, though, would be well satisfied with silver on his Paralympic debut.
