Boccia will be hosted at the Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles at the LA 2028 Paralympic Games, organisers have confirmed.
“The Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles will serve as a multi-sport complex featuring several dynamic sports including Boccia, Para Judo, Para Table Tennis, Para Taekwondo and Wheelchair Fencing,” say LA28 officials.
“This multi-sport site will create a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere where excitement from one competition will flow into the next.
“By hosting multiple competitions side by side, the events will encourage constant movement, shared fan engagement and a festival-like environment that highlights the diversity of athletic performance.”

Today, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) also announced there will once again be 11 medal events for the sport, the same number as in Paris in 2024.
Athletes will compete across four male and four female events at classifications for individual BC1, BC2, BC3 and BC4.
There will also be a mixed team BC1-2 event, plus mixed pairs at BC3 and BC4.
The event programme and athlete quotas have also been announced, with boccia given 128 athlete places, four more than in Paris.
This quota consists of 64 female and 64 male spots, which represents gender parity for the first time at the Paralympic Games.
World Boccia chief executive Paul Trayner said: “This a significant milestone on the road towards LA28 and one which will start to ignite the excitement for the Games, three years out.
“The Covention Center in Downtown Los Angeles is a wonderful venue, which I am certain will help provide a magnificent, inspirational atmosphere across the range of sports being held there.
“I am sure all our athletes are already looking forward to the opportunity to compete in LA.”
