The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has published the first edition of qualification regulations for 10 of the 22 Para sports on the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games programme and Boccia is amongst these.
Overall, the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will feature a maximum of 4,400 athletes who will compete across 549 medal events. This includes a record 236 medal events for women and at least 1,859 slots for female athletes, the most ever in Paralympic Games history. Paris 2024 will also feature more competition opportunities for athletes with high support needs.
