Following the end of competition at the Póvoa de Varzim 2022 World Boccia Cup, the BISFed Ethics Commission held a hearing with the Cerebral Palsy Sports Association of Thailand (CPSAT) for their failure to attend the medal ceremonies to collect their medals.

CPSAT were issued with a formal warning by BISFed, that there should be no such behavior in the future and that any such failure will be sanctioned.

CPSAT have acknowledged their mistake and have provided a formal letter of apology to BISFed, the athletes who were at the Póvoa de Varzim 2022 World Boccia Cup and the Host Organising Committee. You may find the letter here.

The organizers of the competition, PCAND, have also provided a statement regarding the incident. Please find it here.
