On 27th January BISFed announced that the next World Boccia Championships will be hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in August 2022. Boccia is happy to go back to the Carioca Arenas, which hosted the memorable Rio 2016 Boccia competition, amongst other Olympic and Paralympic competitions.
