We are one week away from the first Regional Championships of the year, in Hong Kong. Athletes from across Asia will compete for the 7 gold medals on offer at what is set to be one of the most hotly contested competitions of the year.
The World Rankings don’t lie, and Asian athletes sit top of 3 out of the 4 individual classes with David Smith holding the BC1 individual top spot ahead of Pattaya Tadtong. Not only do the Asian athletes dominate the top spots, over half of the athletes in the top 10 reside in Asia (5/10 BC1 athletes, 7/10 BC2 athletes, 5/10 BC3 athletes and 5/10 BC4 athletes). With such talent all being on display in Hong Kong, we are sure to see some outstanding performances!
