The BISFed Referees Committee have been working tirelessly to appoint referees for the 2016 World Opens. After a call was put out to members to nominate referees in December 2015, over 20 of our federations responded providing the committee with over 50 names to select from for each event.
This data has also helped us improve out ‘Referees’ page on our website, a section that we will continue to improve over the next few weeks in the lead up to the first competition of 2016. The overwhelming response from federations gave the committee some tough decisions to make and the following referees were selected to represent us during 2016:
