After electing a new board on 29th June, the BISFed board can now confirm a new committee structure. There will be 5 committees (Competition and Rules; Referees; Development; Classification; Anti-Doping) with the following acting as Committee Chair:
- Competition and Rules: Gary vander Vies
- Referees: Mary Knudsen
- Development: Heather Lowden
- Classification: Elsa Matthee
- Anti-Doping: Jaime Antunes
We now ask our members to nominate committee Members for each of the committees. Each member will be eligible to nominate one member per committee and have until 12th July 2017 to submit their nominations. All nominations should be submitted using the nomination form document below and emailed to operations@bisfed.com. The Board will review the nominations received from our Members and select individuals to join each Committee, based on their knowledge of boccia and to ensure balanced Regional representation. It is essential that nominees are able to devote time to Committee matters and that they can communicate in English.
If you are interested in joining one of our committees, you should contact the organisation responsible for Boccia in your country and ask them to put your name forward.
