Following recent discussions and feedback, the BISFed Competitions Committee have made the following amendments to the Competition & Ranking Manual:
The changes made are:
- Further steps added to 1.4.2 (Slot Allocation) which describes what happens if a side declines a slot and how they are positioned on the waiting list for any further slots (i.e. they are placed in last place having declined a slot) and what happens if a member is not in good standing with BISFed or LOC. For the latter point, it says that slots can be rescinded if they are not in good standing and that they can be reinstated in to the waiting list once in good standing again (i.e. they’ve paid the money required)
- Clarified 3.3.2 about when rankings will be captured for an event (i.e. 14 days before the arrival day) for the purposes of seeding the pool stages.
