The latest Making Boccia Accessible event in Rwanda has been a great success. Representatives from seven countries joined the Rwandan delegation in Kigali for the 2 day course to develop their refereeing and classification skills.

In total 18 Boccia Ambassadors attended the course lead by Andrinne Craig and Darren Thomson, from Scottish Disability Sport and Board Member and Head of the BISFed Classification Committee, Elsa Matthee.

With the support of UK Sport, Scottish Disability Sport, the Agitos Foundation and Hogan Lovells, BISFed have been able to distribute over 400 sets of boccia balls to more than 20 countries around the world and anticipate that the project has bought the game closer to over 10,000 people.
