BISFed President, David Hadfield and Board Member Martin Lam visited Beijing on 3 & 4 July to review the preparations for the 2014 Boccia World Championships.
They held several meetings with the Local Organising Committee and visited the Competition Venue and accommodation. The photograph shows Martin Lam, Mr Li (Director General, China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities), David Hadfield, and Mr Qi (Deputy Director, CASPD).
After the visit David Hadfield said: ” I was very impressed with the CASPD’s facilities; we were able to see the competition venue being used as the IPC Asian Wheelchair Dance Competition was being staged during our visit. I am sure CASPD will make the World Championships a truly memorable event.”
